WATKINS GLEN, New York (June 24, 2023) – Improvement throughout the weekend left Tiger Tari satisfied with his effort, but still without a result to show for it in a Lamborghini Super Trofeo doubleheader at Watkins Glen International.

Tari’s No. 17 Star Spangled Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, prepped and maintained by NTE Sport, earned just a pair of eighth-place finishes on the weekend due to bad luck despite constant improvement.

A race long battle with a rival in the first race helped to hone Tari’s racecraft, important to him as a driver that has less than a year of professional racing experience. Race two saw improvement in position and a fast lap more than a second quicker than Saturday. But a subsequent flat tire ended his day early when he slid into the wall.

Tari left the event relegated to seventh place in the LB Cup class season-long point championship.

Star Spangled Racing partners Lamborghini Palm Beach, PSA Systems, Clean Claims, Home Repair Network Limited and Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse all have logos on the Huracan during the 2023 season.
