MONTEREY, California (May 14, 2023) – Tiger Tari opened the 2023 Lamborghini Super Trofeo season with a strong run on the historic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the season opener.
Tari’s No. 17 Star Spangled Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, prepped by NTE Sport, qualified fifth in the LB Cup class for first of the two races on the weeekend. He made his way forward an additional spot, narrowly missing the podium.
He went nearly two seconds quicker in qualifying for Sunday’s race, but started eighth on the grid. Again in the race, Tari’s laptime improved by more than a second – but a late spin left him one lap down and with an eighth place finish.
Tari’s Star Spangled Racing Lamborghini is carrying Lamborghini Palm Beach, PSA Systems, Clean Claims, Home Repair Network Limited and Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse on the car during the 2023 season.
